PM Narendra Modi:

In Manipur, 13 projects will be inaugurated and the foundation stones for 9 projects would be laid. These projects cover diverse sectors.

The key works being inaugurated include a steel bridge built over the Barak river, over 2000 mobile towers and drinking water related works.

In a boost to the healthcare challenges in Manipur, a COVID-19 hospital will be inaugurated.

To boost urban infra, projects under the ‘Imphal Smart City Mission’ would also be inaugurated. Kangpokpi will get a new ITI, which will cater to the skill development needs of the youth.

The projects whose foundation stones will be laid include 5 National Highway projects, a modern cancer hospital, a Centre for Invention, Innovation, Incubation and Training (CIIIT), two projects relating to handlooms and handicrafts sector and a Government residential complex.
