Continuous decrease in cases since India reported a peak on 7th May Almost 91% decline in cases since the highest reported peak in daily new cases

Continued & sharp increase in cumulative recovery rate across the country. Consistent increase in recovery rate since 3rd May – it currently stands at 96.9%

COVID19 Vaccination coverage (as on 29 June’21 at 2:30 PM)

Healthcare workers – 1.74 crore doses

Frontline workers – 2.70 crore doses

People above 45 yrs – 19.57 crore doses

People aged 18-44 yrs – 9.10 crore doses

Total doses administered – 33.11 crore

Total vaccinations done April’21 – 8.99 crore doses

May’21 – 6.10 crore doses

June’21 till date – 10.75 crore doses.

Average daily doses delivered from (21st June’21 to 28th June’21) is 57.68 lakh

Total vaccination coverage from 1st May 2021 to 24th June 2021

Rural areas: 9.72 crore (56%)

Urban areas: 7.68 crore (44%)

India has taken a distinct lead in total vaccine doses administered in the World.

As of today we have administered 33,11,14,286 vaccine doses

51 cases of Delta Plus Variant have been reported in 12 States – MP, Maharashtra, Punjab, Gujarat, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Orissa, Rajasthan, Jammu, Karnataka, and Haryana (Data as of June 28)
