After becoming “city of tirangas”, Delhi is set to become “city of lakes” : Arvind Kejriwal

Arvind Kejriwal – CM, Delhi:

After becoming “city of tirangas”, Delhi is set to become “city of lakes”.

Soon, we will have so many beautiful lakes across Delhi.

They will act as refreshing spots for local people and tourist spot for outsiders.

Manish Sisodia – Dy CM, Delhi:

Arvind Kejriwal took stock of the restoration and beautification work being done in Sanoth Lake, under the mission of making Delhi the City of Lakes.

With lakhs of litres of treated water daily, the dried up Sanoth Lake is being transformed into one of the most beautiful picnic spots in Delhi today.

50 such lakes of Delhi, which have lost their identity, are being renovated, which will recharge ground-water and end water shortage.

Once this project is completed, Delhiites will be able to come here with their families and enjoy its beauty.
